Shamae oversees the university background screening program, as well as the DOT program (Alcohol and Drug Abuse Policy for Commercial Drivers & Marine Employees). Her passion focuses on protecting the students, parents, faculty, staff and visitors who are part of the USC community. Shamae is recognized as a subject matter expert in the areas of background screening and drug testing and serves as the university’s representative for all DOT and background screening related audits. Prior to the management of these programs, she was a recruiter on the University Park Campus and managed a diverse and high volume caseload. She also served as office manager and recruiter for the Health Sciences Campus employee recruitment office, where she managed all HSC-related open positions. Shamae is also a certified Human Capital Strategist.
