The HR Division maintains two conference rooms at the 3434 S. Grand Avenue Building (CAL) – CAL 153 (Training Room A) and CAL 154 (Training Room B).
Guidelines for use
Rooms must be left in the standard seating configuration. See the posted signs in each room for a layout.
Clean and return rooms to original condition after each meeting:
- Throw away trash
- Erase white boards
- Return projector screens to their up positions
- Turn off all equipment and return to correct locations
- Close and lock the doors
Failure to abide by these guidelines, or causing any damage, may disqualify groups from further use of the rooms.
Reserving a room
You must submit request, using online link above, at least two but not more than 30 business days before your event. If you have never used the training rooms before, or if you would like a refresher on how to use the equipment, indicate this in your reservation request.
Room reservations are granted based on training priority, size, scope and type – not necessarily on a first-come, first serve basis. Reservations are not guaranteed and may be reassigned if necessary due to training priorities.
To cancel a reservation, email email@example.com at least two business days before your event.
NOTE: A quirk of our room scheduling system is that room access can only be granted to an individual for either a one-day or multiple-consecutive day event; it will not allow access to the same individual for multiple events that are not consecutive. In other words, if you are hosting a Monday-Wednesday-Friday event, the system won’t grant access to Wednesday’s session until Monday’s session is completed. One workaround for this is to have a different individual request access for Wednesday’s session, and a third individual request access for Friday’s session. We apologize for this inconvenience. Again, this quirk does not affect consecutive day events (Tuesday-Wednesday-Thursday, etc.).
