Lyn supervises the benefit counselors and assistants, and counsels incoming faculty regarding benefits choices. She also provides counseling for faculty and staff on retirement preparedness, and handles various retirement components such as Supplemental Retirement Maximum Allowable and the 457b Deferred Compensation plan, as well as all divorce-related issues. When there is a need for a life insurance claim, Lyn works with the family and files the employer portion. Lyn came to USC in 1995, and holds certificates in human resources (from a rival in-town university!) and in employee benefits from Wharton.
